Insulate more, spend less!
Four benefits of good insulation
- Energy Saving = lower bills and reduced GHG emissions
- Increased comfort
- Reduced maintenance: a well-insulated home ages better
- Higher resale value

Good to know
There are different ways to insulate a home: from inside, from outside, or by using self-insulating walls for new builds. You can also combine indoor and outdoor. This is called mixed insulation.
You don’t need to do everything at once. You can insulate your home in stages. But it is estimated that up to 50% of heat can escape through walls (20%3) and the roof (30%4). That’s where good insulation will make the biggest difference. High-performance windows and well-insulated floors can also reduce air and heat loss.
